Born in The Netherlands, Jan Aalt now lives in South-Africa. His techniques include animal paintings, dog portraits, mural art, faux and trompe l‘oeil painting. He works mostly on commision. The medium used is oil on canvas or acrylics on board. Topics include Africa, wild life, animals, children's and women's portraits, always integreted in a superb, sometimes surrealist setting, which constitutes the artist's recognizable touch.
